The Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Board of Education will hold a special called meeting on Monday, April 4, 2022, beginning at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of having a committee hear a personnel appeal in closed session.  The meeting will be held at the ECPPS Administrative Offices, 1200 Halstead Boulevard.

The April 4, 2022 special meeting will continue in open session  at 6:30 p.m., or immediately following the closed session, for the purpose of considering and possibly approving paving projects through NCDOT.  No part of the special meeting on April 4 will be livestreamed.

The Board will hold a special called meeting beginning at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022. The only item on the agenda for the meeting will be a closed session to discuss confidential personnel matters and to consult the board attorney pursuant to G.S. 143-318.11(a)(1), (a)(3), (a)(6), and G.S. 115C-319. This meeting will not be livestreamed.The meeting will take place at College of The Albemarle – Currituck located at 107 College Way in Barco, NC.

The Board of Education will hold committee meetings on Monday, April 11, at 5:00 p.m. The regular meeting of the board will take place on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.  Both meetings will be held in the multi-purpose room at Pasquotank Elementary School, 1407 Peartree Road.  Parking will be available in the back parking lot.

Board of Education meetings are open to the public with the exception of closed sessions.  Anyone wishing to make a comment at the regular meeting on April 25, 2022, may email their comment to the Office of the Superintendent at superintendent@ecpps.k12.nc.us. The deadline for submission is 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022. Public comments will be read during the meeting and must include the sender’s first and last name.  Individuals wishing to make a comment in person at the regular meeting on April 25, 2022, may sign-in immediately preceding the meeting to speak before the board as part of a public comments segment. Meetings will also be available via livestream at www.ecpps.k12.nc.us unless otherwise specified.
