Career and College Promise

College of The Albemarle (COA) has partnered with our high schools to provide Career and College Promise (CCP), a seamless dual-enrollment program to help high school students accelerate completion of college certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees that lead to college transfer or provide entry-level job skills. District guidelines for participation in the Career and College Promise program are linked below.

Students in traditional Career and Technical Education classes in our high schools can also earn articulation credits at some North Carolina Community Colleges. The articulation program is designed to provide introductory level college credit for some of the more advanced CTE courses students take in our schools. Students will need to meet specific grade requirements for the community college to award the credit. Please direct questions to the admissions department at the community college that you are interested in attending for specific information.
