ECPPS School Bus

Morning or afternoon, rain or shine, the dedicated drivers and support staff of the Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools Transportation Department ensure students safely arrive to and from school each day. Serving a fleet of almost 50 buses transporting hundreds of students across dozens of routes district-wide, our seasoned transportation professionals handle all aspects from maintenance and repair to scheduling and routing with caring precision.

Whether navigating inclement weather, vehicle issues, or changes to routes and stops, our transportation team consistently rises to the challenge to uphold exceptional safety and on-time performance. Skilled technicians work behind the scenes to ensure our buses meet the highest standards, while friendly drivers greet each student with a smile. For many students, their school bus driver is the first school representative they see each morning and afternoon.

The ECPPS transportation staff considers it an honor to lay the critical foundation for student learning: safe, reliable rides to school. Our drivers know many students by name and often have generations of families pass through their buses. Though their work happens largely before and after school, our transportation department is an integral yet unseen force helping students succeed every day.
