Student Services

The ECPPS Family and Community Resource Center was established during the Summer of 2016 as a direct result of the District's Strategic Plan for 2016-2021. The Family & Community Resource Center exists to empower and strengthen the partnership between the home, school and community by providing support and building relationships with families.

The Family & Community Resource Center's hours of operation are every Tuesday ~ 8:00am - 5:00pm. Hours of operation will vary depending on COVID-19 restrictions, district needs, scheduled events and professional development.

A lot of conversation was had at college fairs across the state between students, parents, and admissions reps about testing requirements for current high school juniors graduating in 2024. SS-ARS (Say Something - Anonymous Reporting System)

SS-ARS (SAY SOMETHING-ANONYMOUS REPORTING SYSTEM)

ECPPS joins Sandy Hook Promise and other school districts across the country in increasing efforts of ensuring all students and staff are safe. We, too, believe that Upstanders and Trusted Adults are critical to safer schools and youth organizations. The Say Something-Anonymous Reporting System (ARS) teaches students how to recognize warning signs and threats of someone who may be at-risk of hurting themselves or others and to “say something” to a trusted adult or report anonymously using our downloadable app, telephone hotline, or website.

Say Something-ARS teaches students three steps:

Recognize Warning Signs and Threats - Learn what warning signs and threats are and where they are likely to be found.

Act Immediately; Take it Seriously - Learn strategies to take action when warning signs and threats are observed as well as how to be an Upstander rather than a bystander.

Say Something to a Trusted Adult or Submit a Tip - Learn how to tell a trusted adult when warning signs and threats are observed as well as how to submit a tip to a Crisis Counselor using the Say Something- Anonymous Reporting System.
