PDP’s were discussed and turned in to Joanne Sanders.

SD-1 discussed, forms submitted to Joanne Sanders.

State AIG conference discussed, all facilitators would like to attend again this year if possible.

Lots of ideas were mentioned for field trips and the possibility of joining grade levels together. Possibilities included Roanoke IslandFestival Park, Jennette’s Pier, and the Tarhell Jr. Historian trip to Raleigh.

More information forthcoming from Dianne McDowell.

Needs to be scheduled earlier this year and 1:1 to ensure efficiency.

Letter will be revised to ensure parents are clear on what these terms mean for their child.

A list is being developed and will be shared with Joanne Sanders. One item is professional development for staff.

No copies of DEP’s will have to be given to teachers but the information pertaining to their students will be communicated. The appropriate way to mark a DEP was also discussed and agreed upon by all.

Edline information is needed from school webmaster to login and edit school page.

ROAR will be held May 6th.

Colina is coordinating these and the question of whether or not there will be a district middle school bee for each was discussed. Middle school principals have been contacted to help with this decision.

All facilitators are involved in presenting PD to teachers and will meet again to plan.
