Board of Education Meeting Notice for September 2020

The Board will tour select elementary schools on Friday, September 25, 2020, beginning at 3:00 p.m. for demonstration of the preparations in place for in-person instruction. The Board will potentially tour Pasquotank Elementary School and P.W. Moore Elementary School.

The Board will hold their regular meeting via livestream on Monday, September 28, 2020. Closed session is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussing personnel matters as allowed by NCGS 143-318.11(a)(6). The Board will resume open session on Monday, September 28, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. via livestream.

The Board will meet in regular session at Pasquotank Elementary School, 1407 Peartree Road. In accordance with gathering limitations, the public will have the option to view remotely via live streaming at www.ecpps.k12.nc.us. Anyone wishing to participate in the public comment portion of the meeting may email their comment to the Office of the Superintendent at superintendent@ecpps.k12.nc.us. The deadline for submission is 2:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2020. Public comments will be read during the meeting and must include the sender's first and last name. Board of Education meetings are open to the public with the exception of closed sessions. Open sessions are available via livestream at www.ecpps.k12.nc.us.
