Board of Education Meeting Notice - June 2026

The Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools Board of Education will hold a special session on Thursday, June 25, 2026, beginning at 4:00 p.m. for Student Board Member applicant interviews. The special session will take place in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Early Childhood Learning Center (former Pasquotank Elementary School), located at 1407 Peartree Road in Elizabeth City.

The Board will then hold its regular meeting beginning at 5:00 p.m. with the call to order, promptly followed by a closed session. The Board will return to open session at 6:00 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Early Childhood Learning Center. Parking will be available in the back lot, with direct access to the Multi-Purpose Room.

Board of Education meetings are open to the public with the exception of closed sessions. Anyone wishing to make a comment at the regular meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, may email their comment to the Office of the Superintendent at abundy@ecpps.k12.nc.us. The deadline for submission is 2:00 p.m. on June 25, 2026. Public comments will be read during the meeting and must include the sender’s first and last name. Individuals wishing to make a comment in person at the regular meeting on June 25, 2026, may sign-in immediately preceding the meeting to speak before the board as part of a public comments segment. Meetings will also be available via livestream at www.ecpps.k12.nc.us unless otherwise specified.
