ECPPS District Improvement Plan

ECPPS District Improvement Plan

Good afternoon ECPPS families,

On September 2, I emailed to share with you that ECPPS was identified as one of the twenty-nine low-performing school districts in North Carolina. A school district is identified as low-performing when over half of the schools in the district are marked low-performing based on the North Carolina School Report Card. In ECPPS, eight of our thirteen schools have been identified as low-performing.

Working with our school and district leaders, we have developed a District Improvement Plan that will guide the necessary work for us to exit low-performing status. I am asking you to review our plan and give your feedback.

After reviewing your feedback and making revisions to our plan, I will present the final draft to the Board of Education on September 26.

Thank you for your support.
