Holiday Greetings from Superintendent Parker

Holiday Greetings from Superintendent Parker

Dr. Parker shares greetings and well wishes during the holiday season.

ECPPS Families,

I am writing to wish you and your family a joyous holiday season.

Over the past six months, I am grateful for the opportunity to have become a member of our community. You have invited me into your homes, your businesses, and your houses of worship. I have come to learn first hand why we are known as the “Harbor of Hospitality.” Your kindness and generosity have meant so much to me.

The holiday season presents us with the opportunity to reflect and be grateful for the things that bind us together – our love for family, our collective desire to improve our community, and our belief that our future depends on the success of our children. During this season, we also remember our brave men and women that serve in the United States Military – many of whom are deployed all around the world.

To our amazing faculty and staff, I am profoundly grateful for everything you do on a daily basis to ensure the success of our young people. For your enduring dedication to all of our students, I say thank you. I appreciate each of you.

I am reminded of a line from one of my favorite holiday songs: “And so, I’m offering this simple phrase to kids from one to 92. Although it’s been said many times, many ways, Merry Christmas to you.”

And in that spirit, I wish everyone the happiest holiday season.

Keith
