AVID Elementary Seniors are now serving as a pilot team of AVID Mentors! These students are serving in Mrs. Jackson's Kindergarten class and Ms. Harrell's First Grade class as peer mentors to the younger students. They will be working in small groups, focusing on supporting the Cooperating Teacher with literacy integration. Pictured below are students in Mrs. Jackson's class actively engaged in renewing a Social Studies concept utilizing a Graphic Organizer, which is an AVID skill for Organization.
